Thank you for visiting our site in honor of our son

Jackson Walker Hill Anderson

Jackson Walker was born on March 31, 2003 at 4:52 p.m. in Knoxville, Tennessee to myself, Lori, and my husband, Larry. He is the little brother to Andrew and Audrey. Jackson walker was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long. He had a head full of black curly hair and fair skin. He was a beautiful little boy. He looked like an angel. Jackson Walker was not supposed to be born until April 30, 2003, but he had other plans. I had been on medicine for several weeks to stop labor, and had developed toxemia. After a couple days in the hospital, it was decided that it was time for him to join us. After many hours and a very hard delivery, our angel was born. Unfortuneatly, his life on earth was very short. He passed away on April 2, 2003. Jackson Walker had suffered from severe hypoxemia, which caused acidosis that his little body could not overcome. He was such a little fighter, he tried so hard to stay with us, but there was just too much damage. When the Doctor came in to tell us, he said he had fought a good fight, but was tired and ready to go home. We knew it was time to let him go. The nursing staff in the NICU was so wonderful, they let me help bath him, dress him, and prepare him to take him off the vent. Larry was able to baptize him. He took his last breaths in my arms. There are many questions about Why? , and maybe one day the truth will be known, but we must thank God for the time we had with him. He affected so many lives in such a short period of time. He taught many people to love, to have hope, and to have faith. We are forever grateful to all of our family, friends, church members, and everyone across the country who prayed for our family during this time.
